Domestic Worker
 
To be able to come to the United Kingdom as a domestic worker, you must have been working for at least one year immediately before your application:
  • as a domestic worker in the same house as your employer; or 
  • in a household that your employer uses on a regular basis, and there is evidence of a connection between you and the employer. 
This is only an out country application category, switching is not allowed. You can also extend your visa in the UK under this category. 

Settlement
If you have lived and worked continuously in the UK for five years in this category, you can apply to live here permanently. 

Dependants
Your spouse, civil partner, unmarried partner and children can join you in the UK as your dependants.
