The Tier 2 (Sports Person) category is for elite sports people and coaches who are internationally established at the highest level, and will make a significant contribution to the development of their sport. Your application will need to be endorsed by your sport\'s governing body.

You can make an out country initial application. 

You can also make in country initial/switching or extention application.

Your spouse, civil partner, unmarried partner and children can join you in the UK as your dependants.

If you have completed your five years continuous residence in the UK in this category, you are still required by your employer, you may be eligible for Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK.
